Omar De Windt

De Windt is a master communicator, writer, storyteller, strategist and brand builder with eight years of PR agency experience, specializing in real estate, luxury consumer goods, and travel and tourism sectors. Client work includes: Audi Latin America; JetBlue Airways; TCL Multimedia and more than 20 condominium residences in South Florida.

As VP of Corporate Communication, he is tasked with strategic communications management for the Cervera brand; corporate media relations and management of the “Cervera Newsroom.”

Prior to joining Cervera Real Estate, De Windt served as Director of Public Relations – North America, Caribbean and Latin America for 3AWORLDWIDE, a marketing communications agency based in Miami.
Major projects included: reputation management campaign for JetBlue Airways in Dominican Republic and development of communication strategy to support the airline’s Caribbean and Latin American expansion, integrated marketing campaign for the Latin American product launch of TCL, the largest consumer electronics manufacturer in China; media training for Audi Latin America for the 2016 launch of its Q7; and international campaigns for more than 15 luxury real estate developments in South Florida. While at 3AWORLDWIDE, he led a team of 26 communications professionals across nine countries and managed a public relations business portfolio of more than $1,500,000 annual gross revenue. De Windt helped grow the company’s real estate development portfolio and played a pivotal role in the company’s rapid growth across the Americas.

De Windt began his career in public relations at TARA, Ink., a Miami Beach-based boutique public relations, marketing and events agency led by The Miami Herald’s former “Queen of the Night” columnist, Tara Solomon. While at TARA, Ink, De Windt worked on campaigns for William Grant & Sons, AriZona Beverages, Beck’s, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and various entertainment and hospitality clients, among others. Throughout his five-years at the agency, he was able to cultivate invaluable relationships within the South Florida community, as well as with local and national media.

A native of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, De Windt has lived in South Florida for more than 25 years and attended Florida Atlantic University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication and a minor in Political Science.
