Lizzie Giuffra has been a core member of the Cervera Real Estate team since 1980, originally joining the firm as Executive Assistant to founder, Alicia Cervera Sr., and rising through the ranks since then to become chief operating officer (COO) today. Lizzie had just landed in Miami after three years in San Francisco when she first joined the agency. She learned the real estate business first-hand from Mrs. Cervera and has accompanied her on the extraordinary journey that has made Cervera Real Estate the premiere real estate firm of South Florida.

Just two years after joining Cervera, Lizzie began running the agency's property management division. She is instrumental in its expansion from the management of just 15 properties to implementing its conversion into a separate division, Cervera Management, Inc., overseeing all operations for a current roster of more than 200 projects, as well as offering an extensive menu of ancillary management services to an expanded customer base. Since 2002, Lizzie has also served as Account Manager, representing Cervera on behalf of several top developers in South Florida; she remains today the principal point of contact for some of Cervera's main developers. These developers have come to consider Lizzie as critical to the success of their projects as Cervera does!

Lizzie became chief financial officer (CFO) in 2000, holding that position until her appointment to COO in May, 2011. Today, among a broad range of other responsibilities which cover the full scope of the various enterprises operated by Cervera Real Estate, Lizzie supervises sales and rental transactions, interacts with associates and conducts project, market and financial analyses, and oversees human resources and benefits administration. She is well known as the go-to person within the firm, an integral member of the Cervera Executive Team, spearheading the value-related trajectory of management associates to the vibrant, full-service team for which it is so well recognized today.

A Miami resident, Lizzie has a degree from the Graduate Secretarial Academy in Lima, Peru as Executive Bilingual Secretary. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is extremely active in the South Florida philanthropic community. Perhaps most important to Lizzie is her close relationship to the Hogar Clínica San Juan de Dios, a hospital in her native city of Lima, Peru, dedicated to providing medical assistance to underprivileged children, for whom she has organized an annual fundraising event for the past 32 years.

It is evident to all who come across LizzieÔÇöeither in her professional life, or in her personal lifeÔÇöthat she is driven to excel in everything she sets her mind to accomplish. Whenever something needs doing, it is widely acknowledged that Lizzie must be included in the process to realize and achieve the most desirable results.
