Global Property Platform Investorist Opens First US Office, with Support from Cervera Real Estate

Investorist, a B2B pre-construction sales platform that promotes and distributes investment properties to buyers around the globe, has established an office in Miami. Entrepreneur and property marketing expert Jon Ellis launched in 2013 as an Australian-based start up. It has quickly expanded its national and international presence, becoming the word’s leading platform for new development property transactions. 

Investorist has achieved some impressive numbers in 2 ½ years:

  • More than $30 billion of listed property
  • Properties listed in 17 countries, and expanding rapidly
  • 600-plus development projects
  • 9 offices in Australia, China, UK, Singapore and USA
  • Ten 200,000+ property searches undertaken in 2015

Cervera Real Estate, Miami’s leading brokerage and only firm to exclusively represent and sell out over 100 South Florida condominiums, has become a foundation partner of Investorist. More than 10 of Cervera’s new construction projects are featured on the site, including: Aria on the Bay; Elysee Miami; Missoni Baia and the Ocean Resort Residences Conrad Ft. Lauderdale Beach.

Investorist’s US office launches with over 50 projects from some significant developers, including 520 W 28th Street designed by Zaha Hadid and Carnegie Park, both in New York.  Both projects are by Related, one of the top three condo apartment developers in America. Other big names to support the platform are One Sotheby's International and Corcoran Sunshine, one of the top two brokers in New York.

Vice President, Head of Sales - Americas, Josh Cunningham, an experienced property marketing professional, heads up Investorist’s US operations.

“We started meeting with US property developers and realtors early in January in preparation for our official launch this week, and so far the Investorist platform has really impressed every company we’ve presented to”, said Josh.

“Our US clients have described us as a ‘classified global MLS’ (Multi Listing Service) and they love the fact that as a B2B platform, we are more exclusive than most other services. Only companies with a log in can gain access to the inventory listed, meaning engagement is stronger and the database is much cleaner and thus more valuable, than other network offerings in the market”.

“All of the other MLS’s are very localised, for example Miami has its own MLS, but it only allows Miami-based people to access it and only has Miami projects listed. Investorist allows all our Sellers and Network Partners across America to access, sell and buy projects all around the world”, he added.
