MIAMI ' April 9, 2019 ' Cervera Real Estate, the Miami-based brokerage firm with the largest portfolio of successful high-rise sellouts in the city, is proud to announce its 50th anniversary. To commemorate the milestone achievement, the company released a coffee table book authored by founder and chairman, Alicia Cervera Sr, who is credited by Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado for having made "the largest impact on the development of Miami since Julia Tuttle founded the city in 1895." Titled Visionary, the book pays homage to the pioneers that shaped Miami into a global city and chronicles the Cervera family's journey ' from escaping turmoil in Cuba to redefining neighborhoods across South Florida.

"Cervera Real Estate is a product of the American Dream come true. It's a story of opportunity matched by hard work; adversity turned to advantage," said Alicia Cervera Sr., the daughter of a Peruvian ambassador, who arrived in Miami with her Cuban husband in 1961. "My three and six-year-old daughters, Alicia and Veronica, were waiting for us at the airport. I was 31 years old, and for the first time in my life, penniless. But, my family was together, and we were in a safe-haven."

Cervera, now in her 90th year, has played a role in every Miami real estate cycle since her career began in the 1960s. Together with her daughters, Veronica Cervera Goeseke and Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, the Cervera name has worked with 85 developers and sold more than 115 luxury high-rise condos across the region, helping revitalize areas including Brickell, Miami Beach's South of Fifth neighborhood, downtown Miami and Edgewater. In 2016, Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado proclaimed October 18th "Alicia Cervera Day."

"Today, with multiple offices, more than 300 professionals, top executives, billions in sales and more than 100 projects exclusively represented, no other sales and marketing company has a more significant influence on the Miami skyline than Cervera Real Estate," said Veronica Cervera Goeseke, CEO of Cervera Real Estate. "We are proud of being part of the continued transformation of Miami, this beautiful city we call home."

Visionary debuted on Tuesday, April 2nd at the 2019 Cervera Summit, the annual gathering of the company's associates and staff. Alongside the executive team, including members of the third generation ' Alexandra Goeseke, who joined the company in 2007 and brings the perspective of her Master's Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University; and Alicia Lamadrid Paysse, who adds the insight of a B.S.B.A. in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver ' the firm's principals re-affirmed their commitment to remaining family owned and operated.

"It is particularly heartening to have my mother and sister as partners, and to see members of the third generation ' including my daughter and my niece ' actively involved in preserving the company's integrity for the future," said Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, Managing Partner of Cervera Real Estate.
