The largest private development in Coral Gables broke ground in early November. Old Spanish Village, a seven-acre assembly of homes, offices and shops on the eastern curve of Fred B. Harnett/Ponce Circle Park, will not open doors for a couple of years, but anticipation of the project is already here.

Developers are taking the early villages theme to create upscale condominiums and townhomes which will coexist next to shops and offices over three blocks in the crafts section of Coral Gables.
